Fersa has been distinguished with the Corporate Sustainability Award – Large Company Category during the VII Automotive Night, organized by the Aragon Automotive and Mobility Cluster (CAAR), held on Friday, September 26 in Zaragoza, Spain. This recognition highlights more than six decades of commitment to sustainability as a central pillar of Fersa’s business model and a driving force for innovation and competitiveness.
The award acknowledges Fersa’s track record in integrating economic, social, environmental, and governance criteria into its corporate strategy. The company has demonstrated that sustainability and competitiveness are not only compatible but mutually reinforcing, consolidating a responsible and forward-looking management model.
Sustainability as a way of doing things right
Esther Muñoz, Global Head of Compliance and Sustainability, emphasized that this recognition “comes because at Fersa, we understand sustainability not as an accessory, but as the way to do things right from the very foundation.”
She added: “What sets us apart as a company is not only how far we have come, but how we’ve done it—by integrating sustainability into every decision we make, whether economic, social, environmental, or governance-related.”
In recent years, Fersa has reduced its environmental impact, created quality employment, strengthened dialogue with stakeholders, and consolidated an ethical and transparent governance model.
“This award recognizes a collective effort: the daily commitment of our team, the drive of our sustainability ambassadors who bring these values to every corner of the group, and the support of our management in turning this vision into a real strategy. At Fersa, it’s not just about manufacturing—it’s about leaving a legacy of responsibility and a shared future,” she concluded.

On the social front, Fersa holds the Great Place to Work certification, an Equality Plan, a 360º Well-being Program, and a Workplace Harassment Prevention Protocol, supported by a corporate whistleblowing channel.
Environmentally, the company has implemented measures to reduce CO₂ emissions, promote the use of renewable energy, and foster circular economy projects.
