This is a very special year for us since the founding of our company fifty years ago. For this special occasion, we have prepared different activities to share with all those who have accompanied us through all these years. Among these activities, we highlight the inauguration of the Fersa Museum in the new facilities at our Zaragoza headquarters, an open-door day at the central offices of Fersa Bearings, and a special celebration with our customers at the Automechanika Frankfurt fair, one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Half a century has passed since the founding of Fersa. The company was born in the sixties after the union of two family workshops. Fifty years later, Fersa Bearings is present in more than 95 countries and has production centers in Zaragoza, Steyr (Austria), and the Chinese cities of Jiaxing and Shenyang.

We would like to share with you some relevant information about our trajectory through these 50 years. 

Continuous evolution

In 1968, two family workshops dedicated to the production of bearings united to form A&S FERDSA. The company modernized and made strong investments in machinery during the years seventy and eighty. The nineties were dedicated to the search for maximum quality and in the new century, the company emphasized growth in the international markets. We opened our first commercial offices in Brazil in 2009. In 2011 we inaugurated our first subsidiary in Jiaxing, China. By 2015 there followed two more subsidiaries in Curitiba, Brazil, and Ohio, United States.

In 2016 we partnered with the Austrian bearing manufacturer, NKE Bearings, and together we formed the Fersa Group. 
 

Our plans for the future

We have 50 years of manufacture experience but we maintain our ambition and our thirst for knowledge. The commitment to innovation and the passion of our team have been crucial for us during all these years. We will continue to work towards international growth and to be a reference in the automation market, offering our clients the best solution possible.
